Embrace the Rain

As I sit here, watching the rain come down outside, I can’t help but find a bit of wisdom in those droplets hitting the ground. There’s something about rainy days that just feel like they’re calling us to pause, reflect, and grow. It’s easy to think of rain as something that disrupts the plans or slows us down, but really—rain is what makes everything come alive. It’s what prepares the ground for new things to grow.

So let’s think of the “rain” in our lives—those tougher, challenging moments that wash through us and leave things feeling a little cloudy. Sure, they’re not always fun. But just like the rain clears the dust and refreshes the earth, these moments of challenge and reflection can help cleanse our own inner landscape, clearing away the things that no longer serve us.

Maybe you’re facing a rainy season right now. If you are, know that it’s not here to hold you back but to prepare you for what’s next. Take this time to dig deep, to ask yourself what’s ready to grow in your life. What are you watering? What might need a little extra care? Even on the cloudiest days, there’s growth happening that you may not see yet.

So let’s start this week with a fresh perspective: Embrace the rain, let it wash away the old, and get excited for what’s ready to take root.
